About Diana

After a lifetime spent guiding little readers through their first books, I traded lesson plans for paint palettes and discovered a new kind of classroom — my studio. Teaching shaped how I see the world: patient observation, a love of color and story, and an enduring delight in small discoveries.

As an artist I’m learning anew, experimenting with style and technique, letting brushstrokes speak where words once did. Each piece is an invitation to share wonder, warmth, and the quiet joy that comes from paying attention. I paint in the hopes that my work will brighten someone’s day, spark a memory, or become a beloved part of their home — just as books once did for so many young hearts.

“I paint to share the serenity and beauty of the countryside, transforming everyday landscapes into moments of light, color and peace.  Each painting is an invitation to pause, reflect, and appreciate the art of God’s creation.”
